Since I have my grandson all day now that summer camp is over I am trying to keep him entertained. he loves computer games and his new X-box, but I don't want him doing this all day.
Wed. we went to beach with friends and swam with the sharks - no kidding. Went to Sunset beach and water was crystal clean - 5 ft deep and I could still see my feet. I saw a lot of little fish around me and they were jumping out of the water. Stormy weather chased us away sooner than we wanted to leave and we saw a fisherman next to us bring in a fish. Well it was a baby shark - looked like a hammerhead, but he called it something else and it was about 18" long. guess this is what was chasing the fish - if I had only known... maybe I'll just stick to pools. LOL.
Thursday we went to see a FREE movie in Pinellas park. they offered this 3 days per week all summer and program ended today. WHY - school does not start till 8/25. After movie I picked up 5 free X-box games offered on Yahoo FREE recycle site. this is nice. Only thing annoying is you receive about 25-30 emails per day offering free stuff & items wanted. You have to act fast, because all items go fast. I requested X-box games and someone replied & gave me 5- THANK YOU Kathy. Its nice getting free stuff.
